The success of Smart Community is built upon the synergistic excellence of two major factors.
The first factor is that the services it provides are services needed in any community theme. The second is the abundance of need for those
services. People need people and people are the greatest resources for each other. The stumbling block
that often arises is the apprehension of loss of privacy that often occurs when people help each other. This, I believe, is one
reason people, while in densely populated communities, would rather look in the paper for something
they need rather than knock on their neighbors' doors for that item. As we get older, we tend to
resign to getting the help we need everywhere but from those who might actually enjoy the idea of
helping their neighbor.
Smart Community maximizes the needs of both using people as resources and maintaining privacy.
